About the Role

Our events are at the heart of the atmosphere at Achnagairn, and this role is all about being part of that energy.

We are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our events and bar team. From weddings to private stays, you will be part of delivering the experience that our guests remember long after they leave.

You will be joining a close-knit, supportive team, working together to create a warm and welcoming environment for every guest. No two events are the same, and the role offers the chance to be part of a variety of celebrations across the season.

The Role

Drinks Service – You will support all aspects of drinks service across weddings and events, from setting up and serving reception drinks to working behind the bar and assisting with wine service during meals.

Event Setup & Support – You will help prepare the ballroom and event spaces, including setting tables and glassware, ensuring everything is ready for each stage of the day.

Guest Experience – You will engage with guests throughout events, helping to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and ensuring they feel looked after.

Team Support – You will work closely with the wider team to ensure events run smoothly, helping wherever needed and contributing to the overall flow of the day.

About You

This role suits someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a team. You will be approachable, reliable and happy working in a fast-paced environment where things are always moving.

Bar or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. What matters most is your attitude and your willingness to get involved.

You will also be comfortable working evenings and weekends, as this is when most of our events take place.

Role Details

This is a part-time, zero hours role with flexible shifts. You will be part of a pool system, with the opportunity to pick up shifts that suit your availability. Most events take place on Fridays and Saturdays, with some weekday shifts available.
