Bespoke events, for businesses large and small
Our ethos at Achnagairn is “Escape the Ordinary”, and we believe that whatever kind of event you are hosting with us, it should be extraordinary. From conferences to team building trips, product launches and incentive trips, so often these kind of events are intended to inspire and enthuse their audiences, but the venues feel drab, dull and without personality. Achnagairn aims to be the exact opposite: elegant, personal and full of character. And events with us are no exception.
We have hosted corporate gatherings for leaders from many industries, with luxury clients such as LVMH, BMW and Mercedes. However, you certainly do not need to be an industry leader to come to Achnagairn or Cortes for your corporate event. We also welcome local companies - large and small.
How is that possible? The answer is very straightforward. There are two reasons. First, we design all events to be entirely bespoke, understanding your needs and making sure everything is perfect, down to the tiniest detail. Second, our owners both have business backgrounds and therefore have lived through these types of events over the years. They understand precisely what works and what doesn’t.

Incentive Trips
How have your team performed? Exceptionally? Well, in that case isn’t it appropriate to reward them with a stay in an extraordinary place? It is on these occasions that our motto of “Escape the Ordinary” truly comes into its own.
Your top performers will be completely bowled over by the luxury and excitement of being in a Scottish castle. It will truly underline how special they are - always a good motivator! And not only is the Castle stunning, but the surrounding area also works well for thrilling guests. For example, there are fabulous routes to be driven (if your guests are car dealers); there are the Helicopter trips to be taken; there are gala dinners to be consumed, dances to be danced and whiskies to be savoured and enjoyed! Need we say more!
The Scottish Highlands make an ideal location for incentive trips, allowing you to explore everything from rugged mountains to luxury distilleries. From private helicopter tours leaving from the Estate’s lawns, to trips to any of the three Championship golf courses nearby, we would be delighted to help you design the perfect incentive trip for your group.

Product launches
When launching a product, you want to be sure that everything is perfect - the backdrop, so the product truly shines; the service in the place you're staying so that you can focus on the product launch itself, and the whole ambience so that the journalists who have come to cover the product launch, are themselves inspired. And of course, the bedrooms should be exceptionally comfortable, the food should be exceptionally delicious. In short, to launch a product well you need to "escape the ordinary." And where better to do that than Achnagairn Castle?
We are lucky to have had numerous product launches at the castle from new fashion lines through to state of the art luxury cars. Our owner Gillian was a journalist and understands what those writing about the products need to see, feel and absorb in order for the launch to be a success. In fact, not just a success, but a huge success. (At Perfect Manors we are keen on doing things rather well.)
Specialist interest groups - cars
With the scenic North Coast 500 on the doorstep, Achnagairn is the perfect place for those who love their cars. whether it is for the launch of a new model or a group of like-minded automobile enthusiasts who have come to feel the wInd in their hair, while out with their open top vintage Jaguar!

Specialist interest groups - golf
Within half an hour of 3 championship golf courses, we welcome many golfing groups to both the castle and the Mini Manors. After all, if Scotland is renowned for golf and Perfect Manors is renowned for hospitality, does it not make Perfect Sense to put the two together!
Filming
If you are interested in using Achnagairn as a film location, you’ll be pleased to hear that we have experience of dealing with film crews, both domestic and international, having welcomed crews from Bollywood to Hollywood, from ABC to the BBC.
