Activities at the house

Cortes is a pleasure to stay at, and you certainly won’t get bored while there – children and adults alike. There are plenty of activities to do in the house and on the grounds, from ping pong to croquet.

The cinema room

Hidden on the lower ground floor of the house is a cinema room, complete with deep sofas and beanbags, and an excellent selection of films to while away rainy days.

Giant chess

For sunnier days, there is a giant chess set to play with out on the lawns. We have had guests involved in matches lasting hours!

Ping pong room

Also on the lower ground floor is a ping pong room. This tends to be the place to look for missing people around the house - engaged in a fierce battle on the table tennis table! This room always provides hours of fun for the adults and children in the group.
