Given Achnagairn’s fantastic location in the heart of the Highlands, it will come as no surprise that there is a whole wealth of things to do in the nearby area.
Anything from hiking, cycling, whisky trails and cruises down Loch Ness can be enjoyed with Achnagairn as your base, and beautiful sights like Glen Affric, Urquhart Castle, the Caledonian Canal and three Championship Golf courses lie within a 45-minute drive.
For fans of the television series Outlander, Achnagairn is the ideal base to explore the sites visited by Jamie and Claire in Inverness. From Culloden Battlefield, to Wardlaw Mausoleum, their world is right on our doorstep.
Unfortunately we no longer have a restaurant on the estate, but can make recommendations for private dining if this is something you would like to have while you are staying with us.
Otherwise, depending on how far you are looking to travel there is a huge range of restaurants available providing a range of styles and cuisines.
