A 35-minute drive from Cortes, The Balmedie Trump International Course is one of Scotland’s newest golf course additions, stretching across the Aberdeenshire coast line. Open to players of all skill levels, the course was designed by the renowned golf architect, Dr Martin Hawtree and is considered as one of the UK’s best modern links courses.
No golfing trip to Cortes would be complete with a visit to the internationally-famous Cruden Bay Golf Club. Only a 30-minute drive from the house, and situated against a stunning backdrop of panoramic views, the course provides some serious technical challenges to engross even the most seasoned of golfers.
Located in the local town of MacDuff, 30-minutes’ drive from Cortes, the Royal Tarlair course is the golfing embodiment of Aberdeenshire’s rugged beauty. Capturing views of the Moray coastline, the cliff top course is the ideal destination to unwind with friends, whilst providing an admirable challenge for experienced golfers.
