About the Role

Achnagairn is full of moments worth sharing. From the energy of a wedding day to quieter moments across the estate, this role is all about capturing that atmosphere and bringing it to life online.

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Social Media Content Creator to support how we present Achnagairn to the world. This is a role that sits at the intersection of storytelling and detail, helping us communicate not just what we do, but how it feels to be here.

You will be part of a close-knit team, working alongside weddings, events and operations, with access to everything happening across the estate. It is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys being around events and has a natural eye for content.

This role is intentionally flexible. It could suit someone who enjoys being on-site capturing weddings and events, someone who prefers to focus on planning and managing channels remotely, or someone who would like a blend of both. We are open to shaping it around the right person.

The Role

Content Creation – You will capture photo and video content across weddings, events and day-to-day life at the castle, focusing on natural, authentic moments that reflect the Achnagairn experience. This includes being present during key moments and working closely with the team to identify opportunities to capture content as things unfold.

Social Media Management – You will plan, schedule and post content across our social channels, ensuring a consistent and considered presence. This includes writing captions in line with our tone of voice and maintaining a clear and cohesive feel across platforms.

Content Planning & Growth – You will contribute ideas for content, campaigns and storytelling, helping us grow our audience and engagement over time. This includes thinking about how we present weddings, corporate stays and estate life in a way that feels aligned and intentional.

About You

This role suits someone who is naturally creative, organised and observant. You will have a strong eye for detail and a feel for what makes content engaging, while also being able to plan ahead and manage content consistently.

You will be comfortable capturing both photo and video content, and confident using social platforms. Just as importantly, you will understand tone and be able to reflect a brand that is both luxurious and approachable.

An interest in weddings, events, hospitality or travel would be helpful, as much of the content comes from these environments.

Role Details

This is a part-time role, approximately two days per week. The structure of the role is flexible and can be shaped depending on the right person, with options for on-site content creation, remote working, or a hybrid approach.
