Who are Perfect Manors? Good question. We are not a big, bland hospitality chain. We are small and – dare we say it – perfectly formed. After all, the best things really do come in small packages. We passionately believe that life is too short for banality, for blandness, for boredom. We therefore invite you to come to one of our extraordinary five star luxury properties to “Escape the ordinary”. We offer you ultimate luxury breaks in a choice of simply stunning properties.
Started by husband and wife team Gillian and Mike Lacey-Solymar, with help from their three children, Perfect Manors was born with the purchase of our beautiful Regency mansion, Cortes House in Aberdeenshire. Expansion then took us to Inverness-shire, where we found Achnagairn. Shortly afterwards, seeking sun, we ventured out to Antigua, where we built our villa, Perfect Sunshine. Each of our properties has three things in common. Each is beautiful, each is unique and each allows our guests to “Escape the ordinary.”
Our team is comprised of hospitality gurus (with the exception of the owners!), having over 20 years’ experience within the luxury industry.
Co-Owner
Gillian wears many hats. Originally a Management Consultant at Mckinsey & Co, she then joined the BBC as a Correspondent. Nowadays, she splits her time between lecturing on entrepreneurship at UCL, running a programme on entrepreneurship for Goldman Sachs, and or course, she is immersed in Perfect Manors!
Co-Owner
Mike began his career at Warburgs, in the City. Remaining with Investment Banking, he became a Managing Director at UBS, before going on to Investec. He now divides his energies between raising finance for high tech companies in general, and one high tech company in particular – Clinitech, which is seeking to revolutionise healthcare. With his City background, he looks after financial aspects of Perfect Manors.
Chairman
There is nothing about Scottish hospitality, and in particular, Highland hospitality, that she does not know. She sits on many advisory committees, specialising in Scottish tourism, and has her finger on the pulse of all current trends. We would be lost without her!
Note: We will be adding more on our wonderful team very soon. We are just busy behind the scenes trying to reduce down all of the hard work they do for us to fit it onto just one page.
