Achnagairn Castle is a 5-star exclusive-use venue in the Scottish Highlands, offering the perfect setting for weddings that are anything but ordinary. With a spectacular vaulted ballroom, 24 individually designed bedrooms, and space for over 130 guests on the full estate, it’s a place where you can truly make the celebration your own. We had our wedding at Achnagairn and it was just perfect – we can’t thank the team enough for making our weekend so special... I can only hope that one of our family or friends decide to get married here so that we can come back and experience it all again!

A castle with no compromises
Achnagairn is your private castle. When you book with us, the property is entirely yours: the reception rooms, 24 uniquely designed bedrooms, sprawling gardens and, of course, spectacular vaulted ballroom. It’s all yours — exclusively.
Time and space to celebrate
We believe weddings shouldn’t be over in a flash. At Achnagairn, every celebration lasts at least two nights — giving you the space to truly enjoy each moment. With the castle sleeping up to 55 and our nearby Mini Manors bringing the total to 136, your closest friends and family can all stay on site.

It’s your day — and every detail should reflect you. From choosing your own suppliers to allocating bedrooms and setting your own schedule, Achnagairn gives you total freedom. We proudly hosted everything from traditional Scottish weddings to vibrant multicultural celebrations — and love helping create new traditions too.

We have a passionnate, hands-on team who live and breathe events. We are ready to support you through your planning journey and you will have one of our wedding coordinators dedicated to running things on the days of the wedding itself.

Achnagairn Castle is best seen in person, but as many of our clients are not local, and may not be able to pop in straight away, we have teamed up with My Scotland Wedding to create this handy video to give you a virtual show-round of the castle.
Explore the magical ballroom, gorgeous grounds, bedrooms and even some of the Mini Manors (further bedrooms on the estate) in this video. But, even My Scotland Wedding's wonderful skills and a sunny day can't quite compare to walking through the doors of the ballroom for the first time in person at Achnagairn...
