We are fortunate to be located in an accessible, but ruggedly beautiful corner of the UK: in the iconic Highlands of Scotland.

Set in a glorious 30 acre estate with gorgeous views and stunning grounds in Kirkhill, Achnagairn Estate is only half an hour from Inverness airport, a 15 minute drive from the city centre and 14 miles from Loch Ness with its famous resident monster. (Known to make appearances after you’ve enjoyed a good few glasses of the fine local whisky!).

We also close to famous whisky distilleries and have 3 championship golf courses within a 45 minute drive. And last but not least, we are also ideally located near the start and finish of the popular North Coast 500 route.

Getting to us

By air

Inverness Airport (20 miles away) has daily flights from all 3 London airports (Heathrow, London and Gatwick), from Birmingham and Manchester, and a range of International airports.

By train

Achnagairn is 15 minutes drive (7 miles)  from Inverness city centre, where there is a train station with regular routes across the UK. You can even take the famous Caledonian Railway, and enjoy a sleeper train, arriving in London in the morning.
