Achnagairn Estate is our flagship property for corporate events: it works for everyone. With a range of different accommodation options and facilities, we can be entirely flexible to cater for corporate events of any size, shape or form. No request is too much for us at Achnagairn: we can tailor-make your stay entirely to what your group is looking for. Gala dinner for your delegates? Of course. Highland games to entertain them on the lawns? No problem. Whisky tasting to unwind in the reception rooms? Certainly. Prefer gin to whisky? Fair enough.

Achnagairn is unique in its accommodation options. Nowhere else in the Highlands offers the option of both a wood-panelled ballroom and over 60 bedrooms. Nowhere else gives the mixture of excellent Highland hospitality, with modern design to wow your group.

Achnagairn Estate comprises Achnagairn Castle - a 24 bedroom castle (21 en suite) with glorious grounds and a ballroom - and the “Mini-Manors” - seven five / six bedroom properties on the grounds of the estate. Depending on what your group is looking for, you might choose to take the whole estate, just the castle, or even one Mini-Manor. The choice is yours.

The estate has all the facilities you need to host superb corporate events: a large number of bedrooms to accommodate groups of significant size, break out rooms for intense discussion and a stunning ballroom for making a real impression. Add to that, the fact that our award winning chefs are able to conjure up fabulous food and there is little more one could ask for!

So, what is Achnagairn?

The Ballroom

The ballroom is Achnagairn Castle’s crowning glory for events. For a corporate event, it plays a pivotal role, both physically and even - if this doesn’t sound too pretentious - metaphorically. Physically, its benefits are clear - it is large enough for a sizeable drinks reception (up to 260 for a stand-up event), takes up to 200 delegates for a conference and will take 170 for a gala dinner. But beyond its spaciousness, it has so much to offer. All hotels or venues have some sort of large gathering space, but how often have you guests walked into your meeting space and - almost involuntarily - uttered the actual word “wow”!

Breakout rooms & other reception spaces

Of course, not all groups staying with us are after the grandeur of a gala dinner, or ballroom event and for those times, it is our reception rooms that stand out. These rooms are each individually designed and bursting with character. They make ideal breakout rooms to inspire great thinking.

Mini-Manors Meetings

The Mini-Manors also offer plenty of meeting space. Each has a large reception room that can be set up boardroom-style, or transformed into a seminar or brainstorming room for whatever your group requires. They are wonderfully spacious, able to accommodate up to 40 people in a classroom-style configuration or up to 50 for drinks. Alternatively our restaurant Table Manors, a stone’s throw from the Mini-Manors, can host groups of up to 80 for a drinks reception.

Catering, tailored to your needs

Too often, corporate events that are meant to be inspiring are matched with menus that are not. At some places, catering for large groups can come at the expense of taste and presentation. Not at Achnagairn. We are extremely lucky to have two award-winning in-house chefs who can provide mouth-watering food for our corporate groups. They run a 2 AA Rosette restaurant on the estate - Table Manors - where guests are welcome to eat, but can also cater for anything from small get-togethers to gala dinners, balls and conference meals for our groups staying in the castle or the Mini-Manors.

And last but not least we can accommodate everyone! We have 62 individually designed bedrooms (24 in the castle, 38 in the Mini-Manors) so you can sleep all your guests in total luxury.
