The prestigious magazine Harper’s Bazaar has just released its list of the Best UK Wedding Venues, and there are some very big names on it – Skibo Castle, the Gherkin, the Victoria and Albert Museum… But guess who’s up at number one? As you can well imagine, we are all so proud. When our owners bought the castle back in 2009, it was a shell of a place, with only two functioning bedrooms and bathrooms, and today Achnagairn Castle is glittering and full of life!

So often when brides see stunning vaulted ballroom for the first time, they are blown away: the sheer size of the ballroom, its elegant feel and glorious décor makes a fairytale wedding easy to imagine.
