Wedding & Events Coordinator / Trainee

Full-time | On-site | 12-month maternity cover (from May)

Weddings are at the heart of everything we do at Achnagairn. This is a key role within our team, helping to shape and deliver the celebrations that define the castle.

We are looking for a warm, organised and proactive Wedding Coordinator (or Trainee Wedding Coordinator) to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a hands-on, experienced team where weddings are truly personal. Whatever the question is, we always try to find a way to make it a yes for our couples, and this role is all about helping to shape that experience and bring it to life across every moment of their stay.

You will support couples from the point of booking through to the wedding itself, helping with planning, communication and on-the-day coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a key point of contact for couples
• Supporting planning calls and timelines
• Coordinating suppliers and logistics
• Assisting with detailed wedding plans
• Supporting delivery across the wedding days
• Helping create a seamless guest experience

About You

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Warm, professional and confident with clients
• Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends

For a Coordinator role, experience in weddings, events or hospitality is preferred. For a Trainee role, a strong interest and willingness to learn is key. This is a maternity cover role with potential for longer-term opportunities.

Sales & Marketing Manager

Part-time | Corporate & Leisure Focus

We are looking for a driven, personable and proactive Sales & Marketing Manager to help grow our corporate and leisure group business. This is a proactive, outward-facing role focused on building relationships and generating new opportunities.

The Role

• Develop relationships with corporate bookers, travel planners and agents
• Present Achnagairn as a destination for retreats and group stays
• Build partnerships that generate enquiries
• Attend networking and industry events where appropriate
• Support messaging and positioning for these markets
• Track outreach, pipeline and performance

About You

• Confident building relationships externally
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills
• Organised and consistent with follow-up
• Experience in sales, hospitality, travel or events preferred

Social Media Content Creator

Part-time (2 days per week) | Flexible structure

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Social Media Content Creator to support Achnagairn’s online presence. This is a flexible role that can be shaped around the right person. It could suit someone focused on on-site content creation during events, someone who prefers remote content planning and channel management, or a blend of both depending on your strengths and preferences.

Content Creation:

• Capture photo and video content across weddings, events and estate life
• Identify natural, authentic moments that reflect the Achnagairn experience
• Plan content opportunities around key events

Social Media Management

• Plan, schedule and post content across our channels (and help to explore new ones)
• Write captions in line with our tone of voice
• Maintain a consistent and considered presence online

Content Planning & Growth

• Develop ideas for campaigns and content series
• Support audience growth and engagement
• Align content with weddings, corporate and leisure activity

• Creative with a strong eye for detail and storytelling
• Comfortable capturing both photo and video content
• Confident managing social media platforms
• Organised and proactive

Events & Bar Team Members

Part-time | Zero hours contract | Flexible shifts

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our bar and events team. You will be part of a flexible pool system, with the ability to pick up shifts that suit your availability. Most events take place on Fridays and Saturdays, with some weekday shifts available.

The Role

• Support drinks service across weddings and events
• Set up and serve reception drinks
• Work behind the bar and assist with wine service
• Help prepare the ballroom, including tables and glassware
• Maintain stock levels and communicate with the bar manager
• Engage with guests to enhance their experience
• Support the wider team to ensure smooth delivery of events

Bar experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided.
