If you are travelling in a larger group - lucky you! Not only do you have access to types of accommodation that we offer, but we would also be happy to arrange specialist activities for you. With 62 bedrooms on the estate, we can welcome very large groups - up to 130 people. In this case, you have a huge variety of accommodation options.
The Mini Manors are large 5 / 6 bedroom houses with a 5* rating, sleeping between 10 and 12 people. Taking a number of Mini Manors is ideal for large groups - all a stone's throw away from each other.
For a large group, Achnagairn Castle is ideal. It sleeps up to 55 guests in the 24 luxury, unique bedrooms.
If you are a group of twelve or more, you do not have to restrict yourself to the activities generally on offer, as we can arrange special activities in the grounds of the estate, or else a little further afield in the Highlands themselves. We also can arrange not only special activities, but specialist activities e.g. for sporting addicts.
We have excellent contacts with those who facilitate activities generally unavailable to visitors, such as helicopter trips leaving from Achnagairn Estate, and dawn canoeing to view the array of stunning local scenery and wildlife in its natural habitat. Whisky tasting can also be arranged in the castle, or if you're feeling adventurous, a game of murder mystery!
We can also arrange for activities further afield, such as golf, or a private sunset cruise on Loch Ness (sightings of the monsters are almost always guaranteed, as long as you have opted for the whisky tasting beforehand!).
Achnagairn has an extraordinary kitchen team: two award-winning chefs who run our restaurant, Table Manors, which was named Best Restaurant in the Highlands in 2018. They would also be happy to cater an event for your large group, either in the restaurant itself or in the castle.
