Cortes House is located just 35 miles north of Aberdeen City and Aberdeen Airport in the heart of Aberdeenshire countryside. Conveniently located to beaches, golf courses, cliff tops and whisky trails, you can guarantee that there will be something for everyone at Cortes House.
Cortes House is an exclusive use property which you rent in its entirety for the duration of your stay, be that for a day, a weekend or a week. We open our doors to anybody looking for a venue which 'escapes the ordinary' from weddings and hen/stag parties to birthdays and anniversaries to corporate days and team-building events. Once you hire out the house it is yours for the weekend and you can do whatever you want - provided it comes back to us in the same state it was given!
Cortes has 12 bedrooms, 10 in the main house and 2 on the lower ground floor. The 2 on the lower ground floor are hired out on a requirement basis. The main house sleeps 24 guests and the additional rooms sleep 6, so you can accomodate a total of 30 guests at one time - we do have a couple of travel cots and Z-beds for smaller guests should a bit of extra space be needed! For larger events, we can seat up to 65 guests in the main dining room or living room - with this maximum capacity we do have specific layouts of dining furniture
to ensure everyone fits comfortably. Alternatively, you can opt for a marquee in the secret garden to increase attendance to 120.
