Cortes works wonderfully as a family house. It is the ideal place for a large family reunion, or indeed, bringing together several families for a holiday or special occasion. Many family groups return year after year.
Cortes House, due to its size and layout, is both a place to indulge in many social activities (cinema, table tennis, cycling, beach etc) and one where you can easily escape the hustle and bustle of the group! There are features specifically designed with children in mind. For example there are two family bedrooms (sleeping 3 and 4), one of which contains a built-in little hide-away cottage under the eaves. An artist has painted flowers and butterflies on the front of the cottage to fuel young imaginations. Small children will play in there for hours!
Outside there are activities galore for all ages – giant chess, croquet and a children’s playground.
