Achnagairn
Achnagairn has 3 reception rooms, each of which is luxuriously elegant and spacious.

The drawing room is one the most gracious rooms in the house. With its triple aspect view, the light pours in from all sides. The heavy drapes of green complemented with swags and tails add a sense of grandeur to the room, as does the elaborate fireplace of marble and stucco, topped with an original miniature oil painting. The interior designer has created an atmosphere which blends new and old. Many of the plush armchairs have been acquired from the Savoy hotel where they adorned the ballroom and public areas. The stunning chandelier also came to Achnagairn directly from the Savoy hotel in London.

The Drawing Room connects, through an almost hidden door, to the Reception Hall.. This magnificent wood panelled room, with its two massive fireplaces at each end, harks back to an era of grand living. Through its ornate French window, guests can step out onto the patio leading to the front lawn and formal gardens. The room is a favourite for large gatherings. For corporate parties it is the perfect place to host initial drinks, while many brides choose it as the place to tie the knot.
The dining room can seat about 50 people, and tends to be used for most meals by those staying in the house. With its hugely impressive stone fireplace and antlers on the wall, the dining room works beautifully for smaller formal meals, with the ballroom being used for larger numbers.
