Week-end
Most of our guests take the mansion for a full week-end. They find that, in this way they can spend more time with family and friends and make a much more relaxed event of their big day. The standard time of entry is Friday at 4pm and departure is at 11:30 am on the Sunday.
Longer stay
You are most welcome to take the house for a longer stay, too. Especially for those coming from abroad, guests may prefer to stay at Achnagairn somewhat beyond our standard two day rental. For each extra day that you stay, the cost per day drops a little. There are also weekly rates and fortnightly rates, for those who would really like to relax and see some of the surrounding area.
One day only
In low season it is sometimes possible to take the house for a stay of one week-end day only.
Mid-week stay
The house is cheaper to rent mid-week than during the week-end as the pressure on bookings is far less then. At times, a mid-week booking can be half the cost of a week-end stay.
